Have you been wounded by church leadership and left wondering if your faith was misplaced?
Has a pastors words left you confused, discouraged, questioning your faith, or wondering if God is really with you in that moment?

If you’re here because church hurt has left you confused, angry, grieving, or numb, you’re not alone—and you’re not “crazy” for feeling what you feel.
Maybe you were hurt by church leadership you trusted.
Maybe Scripture was used like a weapon against you.
Maybe you were pressured, controlled, shamed, silenced, or spiritually manipulated.
Maybe you were told your questions were rebellion, your pain was weakness, and your doubts were sin.
Or maybe you watched hypocrisy at work in the church—fornicators serving, ministers living double lives, or abusers of authority going unpunished—while sincere believers living to all they know are being judged without mercy for far less.
Whatever brought you here, you deserve a safe place to worship again, so Jesus Christ can heal your broken heart.
This is that kind of place.
We won’t pretend spiritual abuse isn’t real, nor minimize what happened to you.
And we won’t excuse sin in the name of “covering the ministry.” God does not ask you to call darkness “light”, and neither will we.
We see Jesus high and lifted up, and we don't dismiss the foundational doctrines of Christianity because people misrepresented Him.
They've done it before, and they'll do it again.
There’s a difference between Jesus and those who use His name to control, shame, or harm the people.
There’s a difference between biblical authority and pastoral oppression.

There’s a difference between conviction from the Holy Spirit and condemnation from people protecting their profits, positions, and power.
Here, you can begin sorting out those differences—with clarity, compassion, and Scripture.
1) Clear Answers to the Questions You May Be Afraid to Ask:
“Was it my fault?”
“Is God disappointed in me?”
“Why did they twist the Bible like that?”
“Do I have to go back to that church to be right with God?”
“Is Christianity even real if believers act like this?”
“How do I trust leadership again?”
“How do I know what’s true?”
You don’t need rehearsed religious slogans. You need prayer, and solid biblical instruction from a ministry led by the Holy Spirit.

This website endeavors to help people wounded by church experiences reconnect with God, rebuild their faith, and rediscover their purpose, their peace, and their joy.
We teach the Word of God from a true biblical perspective grounded in traditional Christian beliefs and Holy Scripture, using the King James Bible.(KJV)
No revisionist Bibles. No trendy redefinitions or ommssions. No manipulations.
We're not here to debate scripture, or expose wrong-doing in one particular congregation or another.
• This is about truth, not trends. This is about what is true before God, not what happens to be applauded by the crowd.
• This is about Jesus, not performance religion. This is about Scripture over spectacle, substance over style, and a faith that is lived when no one is watching.
• This is about healing, not rebellion This is about restoration, not retaliation, about drawing near to Jesus Christ, not walking away from him in bitterness.
Jesus did not assign us the role of meting out divine retribution, so take a deep breath, a step back, let go, and let God.
Besides, He keeps better records than we do.
Deuteronomy 32:35
To me belongeth vengeance and recompence, their foot shall slide in due time for the day of their calamity is at hand and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

We will never lie to you or mislead you in any way.
We will never pressure you into quick decisions, or public confessions.
We won't require forced “forgiveness performances,” or spiritual “proof” that you’re okay.
We won’t demand access to your private life to “keep you accountable.”
We won’t use fear, guilt, or shame as weapons to keep you in line.
What we will do is point you back to Jesus Christ. We will open the Bible.
We will speak plainly. And we will honor your process.
Just simple truths you can hold in your own hands, read for yourself, and see the fruit manifested in your own life.

If you’re exploring faith and wondering, “Is this what following Jesus looks like?”—the answer is no.
Not if it’s abusive, controlling, immoral, or hypocritical.
Worshiping Jesus Christ is not about money.
Neither does it demand you follow man-made rules and traditions.
Nor is it concerned with artifacts, idols or titles. Our elders are our brothers and sisters first.
Real Christianity is not performance. It’s not spiritual domination. It’s not a ladder you climb to impress God.
At the center of the gospel is Jesus Christ—holy, merciful, truthful—and He has the power to save, to change, and to heal.
You are welcome here, to seek, read, learn, and to ask questions. We will not mock you.
We will not bait-and-switch you. We will point you to what Scripture says.
1. Breathe and be honest with God. If all you can say is, “My Lord, I’m hurt,” or "Jesus, I need help," that’s a good start.
2. Separate Jesus from the harm done in His name. People may fail you. Christ will not.
3. Open Scripture for yourself. You don’t have to rely solely on someone else’s interpretation.
We encourage reading the KJV and letting God’s Word speak plainly.
4. If the lord leads you, come and see who we are and what we have to offer. We know the ache of church hurt and spiritual abuse, and the confusion that follows.
And by God’s mercy, we have learned that you do not have to backslide, or surrender your soul to bitterness because you've been hurt or abused by church leadership.

The Selah Collective is a family where we fight the devil’s lies with truth.
We'll gain strength through Scripture, and run the race toward hope, healing, and Heaven together.
